They should have used their time to rework the absolute garbage dumpster fire that is hero ascension system first. Just have the 2 or 3 legendaries with sleep in their kit like siphi, kymar or gaius. Most ditched daze gear with how limited inventory space is, so likely dont even have spare sets of any redeemable quality to use in that dungeon either. Nothing like spending months getting gear, rolling and failing endlessly for that trip or quad or just to get the right stats and now ascend and hit some useless roll while other guy has speed boots with speed and you can never bridge that gap ever. I really would have preferred a book boss / omega silver farming boss / boss that drops the new forge pass sets etc, but I guess thanks plarium for artifact ascension that nobody asked for or wanted. The boss looks pretty cool, though annoying, and it feels like it'll be hard to tune for auto, but we'll see. So that'd be chaos ores, soulstones, and now oils to take the place of other useful things, and not even to mention the extra energy required to run this dungeon. Not only do you have to keep the best artifacts that rolled the best substats, but now you also would want to start keeping and rolling less good artifacts that might roll the ascended stat you want and turn out better.Īnd I'm going to go out on a limb and expect they will be removing other event / tournament rewards to shoehorn these oils into the rotation and take away other valuable resources that we've come to expect from events. Do they realize how long it takes to get an endgame viable piece of gear in this game? It's already such an insane amount of RNG between hitting proper mainstat / substats / getting rolls you want / getting better than average rolls in the stat each time, and now they are adding this XDĪlso this adds such a huge headache for sorting artifacts now. This is terrible adding RNG on top of the heaviest RNG grind of the game.
